Saturday 23rd November 2024 - Chingford League Race 3 - Trent Park, Cockfosters - 1.45pm start.

Venue Trent Park, Cockfosters Road, Barnet, EN4 ODZ. PLEASE NOTE the new start time of 1.45pm for Senior Men and Women.

Approx 5 Miles Cross Country.
Suitable for good trail shoes, cross country studs or spikes. The race is free to all members of East London Runners. It is not necessary to complete any on line entry forms.

Please use the number that you ran with at Hog Hill or Dagenham. If this is your first Chingford League race of the season, you will be issued with a number which you can collect at the race. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF YOUR NUMBER. If you do lose your number and need a replacement, please advise ASAP.

Hosted by Barnet AC in conjunction with Fraternity and Sorority Cups. You are taking part in both at the same time! At the end you will be handed a FC/SC finish token. Please hand this to either John or a Mike.

So that we can get an idea of numbers, or register you in the case of new runners; please add your name to race entries, or email info@eastlondonrunners.org.uk if you intend to run.



There is very limited parking at Trent Park, therefore is is better to car share or use public transport. Cockfosters Station on the Piccadilly Line, is a short 5 minute walk from the venue.

Travel arrangements.
MEET ON THE PLATFORM AT LEYTONSTONE UNDERGROUND STATION AT 11.30am (Subject to confirmation that Central Line and Piccadilly Line are operating).

The venue has a cafe and toilets but no changing facilities. This is the third of seven fixtures overall including a XC relay in March. Various individual and team category prizes awarded. Age categories equalised for Male and Female runners. We are looking forward to this race and hoping for another big turnout.

Venue: Ashton Playing Fields, 598 Chigwell Road, Woodford Bridge, London IG8 8AA

Cost: Under 35s - £4.20 Over 35s - £1.60 - Please note only cards/electronic payments are accepted!

Suitable for all runners including beginners.

Saturday 7th December 2024 - Southern Cross Country Masters Championships - Lloyd Park, Croydon CR0 5SB

We are taking entries into the Southern Masters XC Championships at Lloyd Park, Croydon on Saturday 7th December 2024.

Timetable:
11.45am: Women 40 plus, 50 plus, 60 plus (Approx 6K).
14.10pm: Men 40 plus, 50 plus, 60 plus (Approx 10K).

Individual awards will be made in 5 year age bands up to 69. Gold, Silver and Bronze (1st, 2nd and 3rd).

Team awards - 3 to score (1st, 2nd, 3rd) awards will be in 10 year age bands (40, 50, 60).

Open to all first claim members of East London Runners.

OF 2.00pm on Thursday 21st November, if you wish to be entered for this event.

The club will pay for your race entry, however please ensure that you are available to run on the day.

Saturday 14th December 2024 - Essex Vets Cross Country Championships - Epping Forest (corner of Rangers Road and Forest Side).

We are taking entries into the Essex Vets Cross Country Championships at Epping Forest on Saturday 14th December.

Venue: Epping Forest (corner of Rangers Road and Forest Side).
Hosted by Orion Harriers.

Please add your name to race entries, or email: info@eastlondonrunners.org.uk by CLOSING DATE THURSDAY 5th DECEMBER, if you wish to run.

The race is open to all first claim members of East London Runners.

The club will pay for your entry fee, however please ensure that you are available to run on the day.

The race format will be the same as last year in that the women will have their own race.
Everyone will run the same course which will be 8k.
The timetable is as follows
10.00am - Race 1 Men V50+
10:50am - Race 2 Women V40+
11:40am - Race 3 Men V40

Individual medals will be awarded in 5 year age categories up to V70 and team medals in 10 year age categories (4 to score per team).

All runners must be Essex qualified. You must be born in Essex, or lived in Essex for at least 9 months.
