RACE RESULTS ARE AVAILABLE BY CLICKING HERE A record number of runners completed our Charity Race on Sunday. In addition we had 38 kids competing in the 2k Children's Race. After heavy overnight and early morning rain the weather relented both during and after the race much to our delight. Ahmed from Ilford won in 15:31 with ELR Lee Johnson in second place. Our Ladies, Ava Lee, Karen Levison and Caroline Frith won the Ladies Team Prize with both Ava and Karen also winning individual prizes, 3rd Lady and 1st FV50 respectively. Maya Goodwin assisted Frank in the Race Director role in Jonathan's absence and did a great job. Stuart Barton and his team put up and took down the course and managed to get soaked pre race in doing so. Michael Bamford managed the volunteers expertly including our Medic Team. Tricia and her helpers including our bakers raised £500 for Charity from cake sales and ELHAP held a raffle to raise funds. Lance provided the music and Leyton Sports Massage gave free massages post race. Many thanks to all our members, their families and friends of the Club who helped in the many different ways to make our race a great success.
